Before you start
Wallet Projector always needs an account — there's no local-only/guest mode. The account you create here is the same one you'll use to sign in to the web panel on this site.
Required. Used to sign in and to receive the password-reset email.
Minimum 6 characters.
Switches the same form between creating a new account and signing in to an existing one.
Opens a prompt for your email and sends you a password-reset link.
Shown automatically after your first manual sign-in on that device, so you don't have to type your password again. A "Use email and password" link switches back to the manual form.
The iPhone app
Five tabs, always visible at the bottom of the screen: Summary, Transactions, Table, Fixed and Settings.
Shows Income, Debts, Fixed payments, Total to pay and Available for the closest upcoming pay period. Available is green when positive, red when negative.
Offers a "Copy" action to copy the exact debt amount.
Only appears when Available is negative. Tapping it opens that period's detail.
Your next 10 pay periods, each showing its date, total to pay and available balance. Tap a row to open its detail; press and hold a row to log an expense directly on that date.
Shown until you have both a salary and a reference payday configured: it walks you through opening Settings, choosing your first payday, and adding accounts/expenses.
Debts, Fixed payments, Total to pay and Available for this specific pay period.
Every expense due in this period. Tap one to edit it; swipe to delete it (redistributes the rest of a split expense automatically). A button lets you sort oldest/newest first, and "Mark all as paid" settles every pending expense in this period at once.
Extra income that only applies to this pay period (e.g. a bonus). "Add extra" opens a prompt with Amount and Description (optional); swipe an entry to delete it.
Every fixed payment, each with its own switch — turn one off to skip it just for this pay period, without affecting any other period.
Each row shows the account name and its outstanding balance (in red when there's pending debt). Swipe an account to delete it — this also deletes its expenses.
Opens a prompt asking only for a Name.
Once you have at least one account: "New expense" or "New deposit".
"Outstanding balance" at the top, a "Mark all as paid" button when there's pending debt, and the list of Expenses (note, date, split index i/n if it's part of a split, amount struck through once paid). Swipe left to toggle paid/pending; swipe to delete; a button sorts oldest/newest first; tap an expense to edit it.
Defaults to today, or to the pay period's date if opened via long-press on a projected period.
Pick which account/card this expense or deposit belongs to.
The value of the expense or deposit.
1 to 10 pay periods; shows a preview of the exact amount of each installment (adjusted for cents so the total matches exactly).
Optional.
- A deposit is saved as an expense with a negative amount, and automatically settles the oldest unpaid expenses of that account first (FIFO), within the current pay period.
Only shown when you have more than one account.
- If the expense is part of a split, the footer shows "Part i of n" and changing the amount automatically re-adjusts the remaining unpaid parts to keep the original total.
Your configured salary, repeated in every column.
One row per fixed income source.
Extra income for that specific pay period, if any.
The debt due from each account/card in that pay period.
Each fixed payment (dimmed for a period where it was skipped).
Total to pay and the resulting available balance for each column.
- The label column stays frozen on the left while the pay-period columns scroll horizontally.
A single amount, edited inline. Shown as •••••• if "Hide income" is on in Settings.
A name + amount list (e.g. freelance income), edited inline. "Add fixed income" adds a new one; swipe an entry to delete it.
A name + amount list (rent, car, tuition…), edited inline. "Add fixed payment" adds a new one; swipe an entry to delete it.
- One-off extra income for a single pay period is NOT added here — add it from that period's detail screen in Summary instead.
- Changes here sync in real time — editing them from the web panel updates the app instantly, and vice versa.
Spanish / English, switches the whole app instantly.
The reference date every future pay period is automatically calculated from.
Hides your salary/income amounts across the app. Turning it back off asks for Face ID/Touch ID (or your device passcode).
Pre-selects the last account you used when adding a new expense or deposit.
On by default. If a pay period is fully paid off with money left over, that surplus becomes extra income for the next period automatically.
Only shown on devices that support it. Enables the quick biometric sign-in button on the login screen.
Shows "All synced", "Offline", "N pending changes", or an error message; a "Retry" button appears when there are pending changes.
Deletes all accounts, expenses, fixed payments and extras (asks for confirmation). Your account itself stays active.
Permanently deletes all your data AND the account itself (email/password). Cannot be undone.
Signs you out of the app on this device (asks for confirmation).
Read-only: the app's version and build number.
A big "New expense" tap target, plus a small "Deposit" link.
Two cards: "New expense" and "Deposit".
The same two cards, plus "View summary" and "View fixed payments" shortcuts.
Jumps straight to the New expense/deposit form.
A local reminder at 9:00 a.m. on each of your next 10 pay periods.
Clears automatically the next time you open the app.
The web panel (Users section)
A read-mostly companion to the app on this site, reachable from the "Users" link in the menu. It uses the same account as the app — there's no sign-up form here, and no Face ID/Touch ID (that's app-only).
Income, Debts, Fixed payments, Total to pay and Available. Clicking Debts opens a breakdown of that period's pending transactions, with a button to switch the sort order (oldest/newest first).
Date, total to pay and available balance for each upcoming pay period.
Links to Fixed, Table, Settings, Refresh and Sign out.
- This page refreshes itself automatically when it detects a change made from the app (Supabase Realtime) — you don't need to hit Refresh after using your phone.
- It's read-only: you can't add or edit expenses, accounts or deposits from the site, only from the app.
Edit the amount and click the checkmark to save.
Edit name/amount inline, delete with the trash icon (asks for confirmation), or add a new one from the "Add fixed income" button/modal.
Same as fixed incomes: edit inline, delete, or add a new one from its own modal.
- Changes here sync instantly with the app, and vice versa.
The reference date every pay period is calculated from.
- The site's own language (this menu, these labels) is switched from the ES/EN selector in the navigation bar, not from this page.
- Deleting your account entirely is only available from the app (Settings → Delete account); from here you can only sign out.
