Everything Wallet Projector does for your pay periods

From income projections to the detail of every transaction: here's how each section of the app helps you stay in control of your money.

Summary

The next payday and a projection of the next 10 pay periods at a glance.

  • Shows income, debts, fixed payments and the real available balance for the upcoming pay period.
  • Automatically projects the next 10 pay periods from your reference payday.
  • Tap a pay period to see its detail; long-press to log an expense directly on that date.
  • The leftover from a fully-paid period rolls over as income to the next one, automatically and without duplicating.

Transactions

Accounts and cards with their outstanding balance, expenses, deposits and split payments.

  • Each account or card groups its own expenses and calculates its outstanding balance up to the next payday.
  • Deposits are recorded as payments and automatically settle the oldest unpaid expenses first (FIFO).
  • An expense can be split across up to 10 pay periods; the amount is divided evenly, adjusting for cents.
  • Mark expenses as paid or pending with a simple swipe, or settle the whole account with one button.

Table

Spreadsheet-style view: income, accounts and fixed payments against the next 10 pay periods.

  • A frozen label column on the left; the pay-period columns scroll horizontally.
  • Each column shows salary, fixed income, extras, per-account debt, fixed payments, total and available balance.
  • Designed to compare at a glance how cash flow evolves over several months.

Fixed

Salary, fixed income and recurring fixed payments, in their own tab.

  • Set your salary and add extra fixed income (freelance work, rent you collect, etc.) applied every pay period.
  • Register recurring fixed payments (rent, car, tuition); they're applied automatically to every pay period.
  • Skip a specific fixed payment for just one pay period from that period's detail screen.
  • Changes made here sync in real time with the app, even from the web panel.

Settings

Reference payday, language, preferences and account status.

  • The first payday date automatically drives the calculation of every future pay period.
  • Hide your income amount, protected with Face ID / Touch ID.
  • Remember the last account used and turn the automatic leftover roll-over between pay periods on or off.
  • Switch the app's language between Spanish and English at any time.
  • Check your sync status (synced, offline, pending changes) and retry manually if something didn't go through.
  • Reset button to clear accounts, expenses, fixed payments and extras, or delete your account entirely.

Notifications, widget & shortcuts

Payday reminders, a Home Screen widget and quick actions from the app icon.

  • Schedules local reminders at 9:00 a.m. for each pay period, up to 10 periods ahead.
  • The app icon offers shortcuts to add an expense or a deposit without opening the app.
  • A Home Screen widget (small, medium or large) adds an expense or deposit, or opens Summary and Fixed, with one tap.
  • The app icon badge clears automatically when you reopen the app.

Account & sync

Your data lives in your own account and syncs automatically between your iPhone and this site.

  • Create an account with email and password; an account is required to use the app.
  • After your first sign-in, unlock faster with Face ID / Touch ID.
  • Your data is stored securely in the cloud and protected by Row Level Security, so only your account can read or write it.
  • Works offline: pending changes are kept on the device and sent automatically as soon as the connection comes back.
  • The same account also signs you in to the web panel on this site, kept in sync in real time with the app.

How a pay period works in Wallet Projector

Four steps, always in the same order, so you know exactly where your money goes.

1
The period is calculated

From your reference payday, the app determines the start and end of the 14-day period.

2
Income and debts are added up

Salary, fixed income and extras for that period against outstanding debts and applicable fixed payments.

3
You see your real available balance

The app subtracts all of the above and shows you in green or red how much is left free for that period.

4
The surplus travels forward

If you paid everything and money was left over, that surplus becomes extra income for the next period.
